B.C. Rich is known as
one of the pioneers in Neck-Thru construction. They utilize it on many
of their guitars, because it provides the best possible sustain,
resonance, comfort and access to higher frets. Neck-through has long
been considered the premium construction method for high-end guitars.
This construction starts with premium North American maple or Mahogany
and runs from the tip of the headstock to the end of the guitar. This
means that the headstock, fingerboard, pickups and bridge all are
mounted to this single sound foundation. Sonically it is a difference
you can hear. The neck-through construction also allows us to cut away
more of the body and neck at the neck joint which provides comfort that
no bolt-on or set-neck could offer.
The EMG 35DC pickup is a
product of 30+ years of design experience. Reproducing an extended range
cleanly—both higher AND lower—taxes the abilities of conventional
pickups. In the 35DC, EMG has succeeded in getting this extended range
by utilizing an ultra low noise, low-impedance internal preamp, paired
with ceramic loaded dual parallel coils that result in an extremely
versatile unit that can be used for just about anything from the
cleanest highs right down to the dirtiest growling lows.
The
Warlock features flat top styling, giving a bold and pristine look to
the edge of the instrument's shape. B.C. Rich adds a stripe of single or
multi-ply binding around the edge for a striking outline, finishing off
the edge cleanly and giving a sleek and clean look to the instrument.
