The EC1000 features EMG 81 pickups (or Seymour Duncan JB/59
Zebra), set-neck design, Mahogany body and neck, a Rosewood
fingerboard, ESP’s excellent TonePros System II locking bridge, and 24
extra jumbo frets.
The ESP LTD Deluxe EC1000 gets your attention
doesn’t it? And, from the EMG81s to the set neck design, this guitar is
made to dominate for rhythm AND lead players. It’s built with a
mahogany body & neck, a rosewood fingerboard, ESP’s excellent
TonePros System II locking bridge, 24 extra jumbo frets and insane,
abalone neck, headstock & body inlays. Guitar players love the EMGs
for their outstanding sound - especially when used with high gain
overdrive. These are the same humbuckers used in Kirk Hammett’s ESP
Signature Series, and they’re a favorite of extreme players like Kerry
King.
TonePros Locking Bridge System:
A simple concept that
no one thought of until TonePros, the system features set screws on
either side of the bridge and stop tailpiece. Because they secure
solidly in place, intonation and tuning are more accurate-the bridge
never falls off. Sustain is better, too, since all of the parts in the
system are locked in place and become one with the guitar body.
