Tell me more about the Endless Jam™ Engine—how does it work?
The
Endless Jam Engine is a simple arrangement system that we developed to
get great mileage out of the jam tracks. It breaks each jam track into
sections, arranging everything between the intro and outro into an
Endless Jam, creating jam tracks that can go on forever without getting
boring or overly repetitive.
Are there any "drums-only" jam tracks in JM4 Looper?
Yup,
JM4 Looper is loaded up with over 80 drum loops played with perfection
by incredible session pros. They were recorded in legendary rooms like
Abbey Road Studios.
Can I transpose keys in the jam tracks? Will they speed up or slow down when I change keys?
JM4
Looper supports time stretching, which allows you to adjust the key of
the jam tracks without affecting the tempo. Conversely, you can also
adjust the tempo of the jam tracks without affecting the key.
Can the JM4 Looper record more than just the guitar signal?
Yes. The looper can record all inputs and, in fact, it keeps the full-range stuff on a separate track from the guitar signals.
How many loops can I store on the JM4 Looper? And how long can I record for?
You can store up to 100 loops internally with a total cumulative record time of 24 minutes.
Can I really use a bass guitar with JM4 Looper? How about an acoustic guitar? A keyboard?
You
can jack anything you want into the aux 1/4" input and rock out. We've
developed tone presets for electric guitar, acoustic guitar, bass
guitar, keyboards—you name it!
Where can I hear more tracks from these great players?
Make sure to check out GuitarPort® Online and jam to other incredible tracks performed by these extraordinary musicians. (Requires compatible Line 6 hardware.)
What’s up with the SD Card slot?
With
an SD card, you can store lots more jams—up to 6.5 hours!—export your
jams to your computer’s recording software and even post jams online.
Plus, use the SD card to import your own songs (in mono 16-bit 44.1 kHz
.WAV format) into JM4 Looper and easily play over them, loop over them,
or change the tempo or the key.
